THRACE, Hadrianopolis. Commodus. As Caesar, AD 166-177. Æ (17mm, 2.80 g, 6h). Bareheaded and draped bust right / Hercules standing right, holding club and lion’s skin. Jurukova, Hadrianopolis 154 var. (unlisted dies); Varbanov 3283. Good VF, brown patina under a dusting of earthen deposits. Attractive bust.
